Derek Brink joined Aberdeen as a senior high-tech executive experienced in strategy development and execution, corporate / business development, and product management / product marketing. He is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of driving growth through new and enhanced product offerings, in companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 500. He brings a unique blend of analytical / technical background, combined with excellent communication skills and extensive information security industry expertise.

Before joining Aberdeen, Derek was RSA Security's vice president of strategy and corporate development, and was earlier the product line director for RSA SecurID. Prior to RSA, his experience includes director of marketing at Gradient Technologies (now Entegrity); various marketing and business development positions with Transarc Corporation (a subsidiary of IBM); corporate marketing with Sun Microsystems; and a variety of technical sales and field marketing positions with Hewlett-Packard. He began his professional career as an analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency.

Derek was an active member of the five-company team that co-founded the PKI Forum, and as RSA Security's representative was a member of the PKI Forum Executive Board and subsequently the Steering Committee for the OASIS Member Section on PKI. He is co-author of the book PKI: Implementing and Managing E-Security (ISBN: 0072131233).

Derek earned an MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Applied Mathematics with highest honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He also holds a second degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
For many years, Jim Reavis has worked in the information security industry as an entrepreneur, writer, speaker, technologist and business strategist. Jim is the President of Reavis Consulting Group, LLC, where he advises security companies, large enterprises and other organizations on the implications of new trends such as Cloud and how to take advantage of them.

Jim has previously been an international board member of the ISSA, a global not for profit association of information security professionals and formerly served as the association's Executive Director. Jim was a co-founder of the Alliance for Enterprise Security Risk Management, a partnership between the ISSA, ISACA and ASIS, formed to address the enterprise risk issues associated with the convergence of logical and traditional security. Jim currently serves in an advisory capacity for many of the industry's most successful companies. Jim is also a partner with the MetroSITE Group.

Jim founded SecurityPortal in 1998 and has been an advisor on the launch of many industry ventures. Jim is widely quoted in the press and has worked with hundreds of corporations on their information security strategy and technology roadmap. Jim has a background in networking technologies, marketing, product management and systems integration. Jim received a B.A. in Business Administration / Computer Science from Western Washington University in 1987 and serves on WWU's alumni board.

Eric Maass is currently the Director of Enterprise Security Solutions for Lighthouse Security Group, LLC, a premier provider of cloud-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Prior to joining Lighthouse in late 2007, Eric was previously Chief Security Architect with defense technology leader Lockheed Martin where he spearheaded the architecture and design of a private IAM cloud for the U.S. Air Force’s Global Combat Support System. Throughout his seven-year tenure at Lockheed Martin, Eric was responsible for pioneering designs for a multi-tenant IAM infrastructure that provides services for a multi-million-user community of military, contractor, and civilian personnel at over 120 global locations. Throughout his career in defense, Maass has worked in various fields of advanced IT security including large-scale IAM, identity heuristics, and complex event processing for the U.S. Air Force, National Security Agency, and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Upon joining Lighthouse in 2007, Eric aimed to repurpose his defense experience in large, multi-tenant IAM systems to the commercial marketplace. His vision included bringing enterprise-class IAM technologies to the cloud as a cost-effective alternative to traditional on-premise deployment. With the launch of Lighthouse Gateway™ in early 2009 under Maass’ leadership, Lighthouse successfully brought to market the industry’s first comprehensive, enterprise-class IAM offering in the public cloud and received early accolades from industry including Gartner, IBM, Burton Group, and Bloor Research. As Director of Enterprise Security Solutions, Maass is responsible for the company’s technology and market strategy.
Marc is the Director of Worldwide Strategy for IBM Security Solutions, responsible for overall offering management, budget and positioning for IBM’s full software and services portfolio globally. In this role he runs IBM’s customer Board of Advisors and meets with customers globally to develop IBM’s direction. In the four prior years at IBM, Marc has run security M&A for Tivoli, the marketing team for the acquired Internet Security Systems (ISS) division and most recently Strategy, Portfolio & Business Development for IBM Security Services in GTS. Marc joined IBM as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Consul Risk Management, Inc., a security compliance software that IBM Tivoli acquired January 2007. Immediately prior to Consul, Marc worked in The Netherlands at Fortis Banks’ cross-European. He invested in a dozen European start-ups, including Consul, and sat on numerous Boards to help guide business direction. Marc began his career as a strategy consultant in Boston, MA, with Gemini Consulting, spending fours years working on strategy projects in the US, France, Holland, Belgium, Ireland and Canada. He received an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) and his BA in Economics from Bowdoin College, in Maine.

Latha Maripuri has spent the last fifteen years in various business and technical information technology positions. Currently, Latha is the Director of IBM Security Services - heading strategy, product management and enablement globally. She and her team are responsible for launching industry leading consulting and managed security services across many key areas - Data Security, Infrastructure Security, Application Security, Identity & Access Management and Risk & Compliance.

Prior to her role in security services, Latha has held numerous positions across IBM in global financing, e-business, supply chain and business transformation. She received her Bachelors degree from Manhattan College in Computer Science and her Masters degree from the University of Michigan in Computer Engineering. Latha is based in New York.
