Since 1 January 2008, Sietze has been responsible for the IBM´s services and solutions business, focused on Central, State & Local government clients around the world.  He also leads the smarter city initiative for IBM GBS worldwide. The global portfolio of the Industry Solutions covers solutions to help clients realize a Smarter Planet and Smarter Cities.

Sietze has extensive experience in government transformation projects and innovative solutions that create value for citizens. He is also the co-author of several whitepapers, such as  "The Big lie about transparency", addressing change management in Government and ´´Government 2020, the perpetual collaboration mandate´´.

In his former role (2005-2007), he was Strategy & Market Development Leader for North East Europe, Middle East and Pakistan. In this role Sietze was responsible for the strategic portfolio for the region (industries, solutions and big complex deals) including acquisitions and divestments.   During 2002-2005 he was responsible for the Public sector for IBM services in Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Before joining IBM, Sietze was a Partner at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Management Consultants, responsible for PwC´s Global Government and Services industry worldwide.

Robert Dolan, Jr. is the Worldwide Government and Education Industry Executive for IBM Business Intelligence and Performance Management and is responsible for defining the performance management strategy for Government and Education worldwide. He has 20 years experience working in a variety of marketing roles, focused on public sector marketing, industry marketing, field marketing and global marketing campaigns with resellers, solution providers and software companies. Prior to coming to IBM, he worked for software companies in the business intelligence and storage management spaces as well as a number of solution providers providing hardware, software and services to the public sector.

Gerry Mooney is currently General Manager, Global Government and Education, with responsibility for understanding client needs, defining IBM's strategy, selecting investment areas, creating marketing programs, and directing the deployment of IBM resources worldwide for these two industry groups.

He is also presently leading a cross IBM project office focused on Implementing IBM's Smarter Planet programs globally across both the public and private sectors. This initiative is coordinating IBM's efforts to apply the company's unique capabilities to help governments around the world build for the future while executing their aggressive economic recovery plans.

Mr. Mooney is a member of the Board of Directors of The Intelligent Transportation Society of America which is the leading advocate for technologies that improve the safety, security and efficiency of the nation's surface transportation system. ITS America members include private corporations, public agencies, and academic institutions. ITS America is in the forefront of the research, development and design of Intelligent Transportation Systems technologies that enhance safety, increase mobility and sustain the environment.

Mr. Mooney was IBM's Vice President, Corporate Strategy with worldwide responsibility for IBM's Emerging Business Opportunities program, focusing on growth and innovation. His team worked with the IBM senior leadership team to create new market and growth opportunities by leveraging IBM's leadership in industry and technology innovation.

Leendert van Bochoven is the NATO and European Defense leader, reporting in the EMEA Chairman´s Office. In this capacity, he is leading IBM´s efforts at NATO and the EDA and their respective member states. Before that he has been leading the solutions approach for Network Centric Operations as part of the global IBM Defense team since 2003.

He joined IBM in 1998 and during these years he has worked on several large systems integration programs, especially in the Logistics/ERP/SAP area. He is Board member of the joint Center of Excellence on NCO between the Finnish Defense Forces and IBM. He is also Advisory Board member of the Security & Defense Agenda (

Curtis Clark is IBM's Global Director for Regional and Local Government. In this role, he focuses on emerging trends and directions in the public sector and works with governments on strategies for implementing innovative programs and services, designed to more effectively and efficiently meet the needs of citizens, business, and government employees.

He is also responsible for IBM's Institute for Electronic Government in Washington D.C. The Institute, in conjunction with the IBM's Center for the Business of Government, serves as IBM's focal point for thought leadership - sharing research, experience and best practices with public sector clients - focusing on public policy issues, organizational and management practices, and technologies that can enable innovation in the public sector.

Prior to joining IBM in 1997, Mr. Clark spent over 17 years with the State of North Carolina, where he held various executive and legislative positions.

Mark Cleverley helps governments with technology-enabled transformation. He advises IBM's public sector customers and IBM teams on potentials, challenges and best practices in the evolving use of new technologies and how they might affect strategy and policy choices.

Mr. Cleverley has consulted widely on government projects, and has written and spoken publicly extensively in the USA and abroad. In is current role he works with governments in many nations and many areas of information systems. He focuses on new technology areas and their impact for the public sector: most recently social media, cloud computing, and IBM's smarter city programs.

Previously he was responsible for IBM's Public Safety, Justice, and related clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Earlier he led technology-enabled innovation projects in the oil, aviation and financial services industries, in Western Europe, the USA and Russia.

Mr. MacIsaac, is long time marketing professional at IBM where he has spent many years supporting State, regional and Local government clients from across the globe. As a local government marketing manager he has become a subject matter expert in the areas of transportation, public safety and smarter cities.
