Citrix 3Q 2017 Earnings Call

David Henshall was appointed president & chief executive officer for Citrix in July 2017.  He is also a member of the board of directors. 

As CEO, Henshall is responsible for overseeing all business functions, go-to-market activities, attainment of our strategic, operational and financial goals, and is the primary management interface with the board of directors. 

Prior to being appointed to CEO, Henshall served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Citrix.  In those roles, he oversaw the company’s worldwide finance, operations and administration organizations.

He joined Citrix as vice president and CFO in 2003; and since then has focused on building a balanced portfolio of growth investments, maintaining a scalable operational infrastructure and ensuring disciplined financial decision-making. Henshall is committed to maximizing long-term value for all stake-holders, and leading the open communications with the investment community that Citrix is known for.

With 25 years of management experience in the technology sector, Henshall has worked at several of the industry’s leading companies. Prior to joining Citrix, he served as chief financial officer of Rational Software Corporation, a software company acquired by IBM Corporation in 2003, and also held various finance positions at Cypress Semiconductor and Samsung.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of LogMeIn and Everbridge.

Mark Coyle was appointed interim chief financial officer in July 2017.  In that role, Coyle is responsible for investor relations, budgeting and planning, financial accounting, tax and treasury, as well as the company’s overall financial and capital management strategies.

Coyle joined Citrix in February 2015 as senior vice president of finance for Citrix, leading the global finance, accounting, treasury and tax, and real estate teams, in support of the strategic business goals of the entire company.

A seasoned finance executive, Mark has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Before joining Citrix, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer for the Customer Solutions Group of CA Technologies, where he was responsible for all business unit finance activities. Prior to that, Mark was vice president of global sales finance for Cisco Systems, where his teams managed pricing, commissions, the deals desk, and commerce build-outs. He spent 24 years with IBM in a variety of roles with increasing scope and responsibility throughout his tenure. He held senior finance roles in the Software Group, including a number of divisional CFO Roles, as well roles in the EMEA and Americas software businesses.

Mark holds an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and an MBA from Duke University.

Eduardo Fleites is Vice President of Investor Relations at Citrix Systems.

Eduardo joined Citrix in 2006 and oversees the company’s investor relations and shareholder communications.  Eduardo has over 25 years of financial management experience in technology and financial sectors.  Prior to joining Citrix, he worked as a sell-side analyst at Lehman Brothers and worked in business development at Nortel.  He holds an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC.
