Email Attack Campaigns: The Unhappy Holiday Season

While many people took time off during the holiday season to visit with family and friends, “threat actors” were still hard at work:  working to steal your personal and financial data, compromise your network and deliver malware—an always unexpected “gift.”  Their preferred method: email phishing, which remains one of the primary infection vectors.

Equally hard at work over the holidays was FireEye Labs team. They were collecting data on these email attack campaigns—identifying targets, examining malware and exposing attackers’ techniques. They compiled this data into a special report:  Email Campaigns during the 2015 Holiday Season.

Join FireEye malware researchers Mary Grace Timcang and Robert Venal for a live webinar on Feb. 16, where they will:

  • Discuss current email phishing campaign trends, attacker techniques and targets
  • Dive into details on specific campaigns, including Nivdort, Dridex and UrSnif
  • Share some key recommendations on how to prevent and combat email phishing

Register today and learn from the experts on how to respond as these threats evolve.
