LA 411 Stays Connected to Production Community
via Webcast Studio
LA 411 (part of the Variety Magazine family) has been in the forefront of the film, television and commercial production community for over thirty years. Not surprisingly this leadership role extends to technology as well. Since 2009 LA 411 with the Producers Guild of America and Entertainment Partners began conducting a bi-monthly webcast series on financial incentives for film and television producers offered by local/state film commissions. These webcasts provided the film producers and commissioners a unique opportunity to interact, collaborate and share the latest industry information. InterCall’s Webcast Studio was the engine that powered these webcasts—while heightening LA 411’s visibility with its target audience.
In today’s session you’ll hear first-hand from our guest speaker Marjorie Galas—LA 411’s Marketing Manager who spearheaded this initiative—on how she leveraged InterCall’s Webcast Studio and services to:
- plan, organize and launch timely webcasts to a diverse audience within the television and film industry
- build a community by continuing the conversation and promoting collaboration even after the webcast
- expand audience reach; with an average attendance of 300 – 500 people per webcast, LA 411 also attracted an international audience from Australia, England, Germany and Canada.
- elevate LA 411 as a thought-leader in business communication within film and video production circles
